Committee on Internal Trade

The Committee on Internal Trade (CIT) is responsible for the implementation of the CFTA and is composed of the Ministers responsible for internal trade of each Party. The CIT meets annually to review progress and provide direction on the CFTA on a consensus basis. The CIT follows an annual rotating chairpersonship as set out in Article 1101.4 of the CFTA.
